Mobius appoints new CTO to support next phase of growth

Mobius, the pensions infrastructure platform, has appointed Lee Nicholls as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy as the business enters its next phase of growth following the announcement of its acquisition by Motive Partners, subject to regulatory approval.

Lee brings extensive leadership experience across fintech and financial services, with a strong track record in building and leading technology teams through periods of growth and transformation.

He will report directly to James Finch, CEO at Mobius and join the Executive Committee.

Lee’s appointment is the latest step forward for Mobius. As the business enters its next phase of growth, technology will play a central role in enhancing Mobius’ market leading client offering, further strengthening the operating platform and supporting the development of new products and services.

Before joining Mobius, Lee spent more than five years as CTO of InvestCloud, where he oversaw the development of its digital wealth technology.

Lee also spent more than eighteen years earlier in his career at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, where he became CIO of EMEA Global Markets Technology.
